If you’re looking for an easy-to-use universal remote to control up to Fifteen(15) AV components and even some smart-home devices, we recommend the Logitech Harmony Elite. Harmony remotes are the easiest to set up, and the smart, activity-based system simplifies control of your whole home theater. No other remote control we found offers as much control, connectivity, and compatibility for the money. Other brands can only be purchased by agents and authorized distributors and become way too expensive. They all have support issues in the long term and highly do no recommend unless you have lots of cash to dispose.

In addition to physical buttons, it has a color touch screen from which you can quickly select a favorite channel. You can also create custom buttons, such as Watch a Movie, to automatically turn all your devices to the right settings. The Elite works in conjunction with the Harmony Hub (included), enabling you to hide electronics in a cabinet. It also works with several smart-home devices, including Philips Hue lights and the ecobee4 thermostat. Plus, it can be connected with Amazon Alexa, so that you can issue Harmony Elite commands using nothing but your voice.
